What happens when Merlin speedruns his own exposure and Percival picks the wrong magical friend? You get this absolute masterclass in Evil coordination.
The game was essentially over when Javier decided to propose a team so surgically clean of Evil that he might as well have worn a "I'M MERLIN" t-shirt. Meanwhile, Samy looked at Morgana and Merlin, did the mental math, and chose... poorly.

Chef's kiss. Johan played the long con like a seasoned poker pro. Stayed invisible through three quests, built trust with the Good team, then casually proposed the final quest that everyone approved 7-1. The Lady of the Lake lie calling Youssef "evil" was the cherry on top. Mordred doing Mordred things.
๐ @lelissah (Morgana) โ 9/10
Lionel was on EVERY. SINGLE. QUEST. That's not suspicious at all, right? Hid his fail card like a pro in Quest 1 alongside Johan, did it again in Quest 2, then went full supervillain in Quest 4 with a double-fail alongside his Mordred buddy. Also somehow convinced Percival he was Merlin. Iconic.
๐ญ @abilos (Trickster) โ 8/10
Antonela played the positioning game beautifully. By Quest 4, she'd maneuvered herself into such a trusted spot that when Johan proposed his trap team, everyone just... went with it. The Lady check on her returned "good" because Youssef was too busy fighting with Alex to think straight.

Javier knew everything. He also made sure everyone else knew he knew everything. His Quest 2 proposal of "Javier, Youssef, Lionel" was basically a signed confession. The Evil team didn't need to assassinate himโhe did it himself.
๐ช @sgharsouli (Percival) โ 4/10
Samy had ONE job: figure out which glowing wizard was the real one. He chose Morgana. He then proposed Quest 4's team with BOTH Evil heavyweights on it. The defense rests.

Alex fought valiantly for truth and justice, which in Avalon means getting into heated arguments with your own teammates. His instincts were decent, but spending energy attacking Youssef instead of the actual snakes cost the realm dearly.
๐ก๏ธ @juguillaume (Loyal Servant) โ 5/10
Julien was supportive... of Alex... who was attacking Youssef... who was Good. The friendly fire was real. At least he consistently rejected suspicious proposals, even if it didn't matter in the end.
๐ @yennahdi (Troublemaker) โ 5/10
Youssef got Lady'd by Johan and declared Evil (a lie), then Lady'd Antonela and declared her Good (also a lie, but he didn't know). His investigation skills need calibration. Also, maybe don't start a civil war with Alex when there are actual traitors at the table?
| Quest | Result | Team | The Tea | |-------|--------|------|---------| | 1 | โ Success | Youssef, Lionel, Johan | Two Evils hide perfectly. Merlin screams internally. | | 2 | โ 1 Fail | Antonela, Lionel, Julien, Samy | Trickster slips one in. Percival still trusting Morgana. | | 3 | โ 1 Fail | Youssef, Lionel, Julien, Johan | Hammer proposal passes with 0 approves. Democracy is dead. | | 4 | โ 2 Fails | Youssef, Lionel, Alex, Samy, Johan | The massacre. 7-1 approval. Evil doesn't even try to hide anymore. |
The Good team had all the piecesโMerlin knew everything, Troublemaker could investigate, Percival could identify. They just assembled the puzzle upside down, on fire, while arguing about which piece was which.
"In the game of Avalon, you either trust your wizard or you trust the snake pretending to be one. Samy chose the snake." ๐๐
